Just a few miles north of Rockland is the town of Camden - featuring a bustling downtown, lovely green spaces, and a picturesque harbor. Popular stops include Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park with a panoramic look at Penobscot Bay and its hundreds of islands.
A TICKET TO RIDE
Visit Owls Head Transportation Museum, with an impressive collection of over 150 antique automobiles, planes, and cycles all from pre-1940’s eras. Unlike other museums of its kind, Owls Head is unique in that it offers operational outdoor exhibits.
HISTORICAL VIEWING
Rockland is home to several National Historic Landmarks, including nine schooners, the historic sailing vessels of the Maine Windjammer fleet, as well as the Olson House in Cushing and the Camden Public Library and Amphitheatre.

A variety of artisanal farms, vineyards, craft breweries, and a distillery are all located within a 30-mile radius of the Port of Rockland.
